Alan Shackleton
Head of Litigation and branch partner
About me
I have been with Edward Hands and Lewis since 2014, prior to this I had 26 years experience. From 1988 to 1995, I did banking (and some insolvency litigation) in the City for banks, including fraud. For the next 12 years, I did principally commercial litigation for a wide range of businesses, in or about Manchester. Since 2007, I have done the same work plus more civil cases, including contentious probate, fraud and substantial minority shareholder dispute. Working remotely since 2020 has been an interesting change of working style which suits me very well for the most part!
